I guide you just enough to keep everything looking great, then stay out of the way so the day can be the day. You will always know what to do, and it will never feel like a photoshoot.

The best wedding photos are rarely the planned ones. I stay ready for the laugh, the tear, the hand squeeze nobody saw coming, because those are the frames you will keep coming back to.

An intimate elopement and a full celebration are not the same day and should not be photographed the same way. I adapt to yours, not the other way around.

Three ways to photograph a wedding day. A wedding runs to a fairly set schedule, so the real difference between these is which part of it I am there for. Candid-leaning throughout, with light direction and prompts so it never feels like you are performing. Most of my couples become family clients.

The Glamper

Everybody there.
Half the day.

A wedding day does not compress, so four hours is a window rather than a shorter version of everything. I arrive as getting ready is wrapping up and stay through the ceremony, the family and couple portraits, and the front of the reception, usually the entrance and the toasts. Most of getting ready and all of the dancing sit outside it.

The Wanderer

Small wedding.

Six hours covers nearly the whole schedule. Getting ready, the ceremony, portraits through golden hour, dinner and the toasts. The only thing outside the window is the end of the night, so I am usually leaving as the dance floor fills. Your engagement session comes with a guide and styling help beforehand, so by the wedding the camera already feels like nothing.

The Thrill Seeker

Eight hours is the whole schedule with nothing outside the window, from the first quiet hour of getting ready to the last song nobody wants to end. A second shooter comes along for all eight, which means two angles on every vow and someone catching the room while I am catching you. Eight Polaroids come home with you the same day.

The one wedding that is genuinely short.

The Daytripper · $1,500 · 2 hours · 150+ images

A courthouse ceremony is the one day that does not run to the usual schedule, which is why two hours is genuinely enough for it. The vows, the rings, the first kiss, and a little while afterward that is just the two of you. Courthouse steps, a backyard, or a vow renewal with everyone who matters already in the room. There is no reception coverage, and for these days there does not need to be. Everything listed above is included.

Second shooter

Included for the full day on The Thrill Seeker, and available on The Wanderer at $100/hr when the day calls for a second set of eyes. The Daytripper and The Glamper are solo by design; on a half day or less there is only one place worth being.

Booking

A signed agreement and a 50% retainer hold your date, with the balance due one week before. Galleries stay live for a year, with custom albums available on request.
