I shoot the day the way it actually happens. Mostly documentary, a little lifestyle when the light is good and you’ve got a minute. You’ll get real direction when it helps, and none when it doesn’t. The photo that ends up on the wall is never the one anybody planned.

A wedding runs to a pretty set schedule, so the real question is which part of it I’m there for. Two hours for genuinely small days. Six for the main event. Eight when you want the full shape of it.

For the wedding that really is small.
Courthouse ceremonies, elopements, vow renewals, a backyard with everyone who matters already in it. The vows, the rings, the first kiss, and some time afterward that’s just the two of you. There’s no reception coverage in this one, and for these days there usually doesn’t need to be.

Almost everything except the dancing.
The ceremony, portraits, family photos, cocktail hour, dinner and the toasts. Six hours picks up as getting ready wraps and runs through the front of the reception, so the one part outside the window is the end of the night. For couples who want the ceremony and the reception documented but don’t need getting ready through the final song.

First quiet hour to last song.
Eight hours covers the shape of a full wedding day. Getting ready, the ceremony, portraits at golden hour, dinner, the toasts, and the dance floor until it’s over. A second shooter comes for all eight, so there are two angles on every vow and someone catching the room while I’m catching you. Your engagement session is included, so by the wedding you’re already used to me.

The fine print: a signed agreement and a 50% retainer hold your date, with the balance due two weeks before. Custom albums on request. Need something a little different? Ask me. And if you only want the engagement session, that’s the Double Feature.
