Family Sessions
Real moments.
Real connection.
Family sessions with me are about giving your family space to just be together, and then documenting what happens. Kids running, parents laughing, the chaos and the tenderness all mixed together. I bring the prompts and a little friendly direction, so nobody's left wondering what to do with their hands.
Two ways to do this. The Picture Book is the classic experience: a lightly guided session at a beautiful location, gently directed, built around real connection and play. The Side Quest is built around your family's actual life, whether that's a Saturday morning donut run, a favorite trail, or a lazy afternoon at home with your newest addition. Same goal either way: a gallery that actually feels like your family.

We are big fans of Daniel! We booked a 60-minute Outdoor Session, and we’re thrilled with the results. Daniel brought energy to the day and encouraged fun. If you love a warm, candid family photo, Daniel will capture it.
If you’re worried your family is “too crazy” for photos, well, congratulations. You’re exactly who I want to shoot.

I tell every family the same thing: just play with each other and pretend I'm not here. They actually did it.
Pretty sure the kid was just doing whatever he wanted. The photos suggest I was right.

We’ve been through the stress of a wedding, me being pregnant, lots of wind, two kids under two, a toddler who wants to run around, a scared dog who won’t look at the camera, and everything in between. And he still got the shot. Daniel captures what you can’t see. His skill set is as wonderful as he is.
Four shoots in and somehow it still feels like the first time. Just with more cookies.
