In-home newborn photography in Orange County and Los Angeles.
Nobody has to buckle a brand-new baby into a car seat and drive to a studio. One morning at your place, and the home they first came back to ends up in the pictures too.
The baby doesn’t have to do anything.
The part you don’t need to worry about.
Awake? Fine. Asleep? Great. Hungry halfway through? We stop. Feeding, changing, and settling are built into the session, for the baby and for a big sibling who needs a minute.
You’ll have help the whole time. I find the light, help you get comfortable, and gently guide how you hold and connect with your baby. Looking at your baby or at each other is part of the photography; nobody has to keep smiling at the lens.
And your house doesn’t need to look like a catalog. I usually need a good window, your bed, maybe the nursery or the corner of the couch you’ve been living on. That’s plenty.

Every photograph I select and edit is included, lightly retouched and yours to keep. No choosing favorites.
Pauses for feeding and changing are already part of the session. To add The Print Edition or Polaroids, see the optional extras
Booking and timing
Get in touch while you’re pregnant. We pick the day after the baby arrives.
We’ll pencil in your due date, then confirm the session once your baby is here and you’re ready. I usually aim for the first couple of weeks, and there’s room to move.
Baby already here, or a few months old? I’ll still come. Those photographs capture a different stage, and it’s a good one.
How the Morning Goes

Before
I send a short in-home guide: the two rooms that matter, the light, and what to wear. Ten minutes of reading, then it’s handled.

The session
Shoes off, hello to whoever is awake, then I find the good light. We’ll make baby portraits, the tiny details, the two of you together, siblings, and plain everyday moments. Around two hours, with time for feeding, changing, and settling.

After
Your gallery arrives in about two weeks, online and easy to share.
Maternity + Newborn
Still waiting? Good timing.
Maternity photos tell the part before this one, usually around 28 to 34 weeks, outside or at home.
Book both sessions together and we’ll plan maternity first, then pencil in your newborn session around your due date.

Save $250 vs. booking both at standard rates. Each session gets its own full curated gallery, typically 75+ edited images.
A Note From Daniel
Some newborn mornings are quiet. Some have a crying baby, a big sibling doing laps around the couch, and a dog with opinions about me. All of it is welcome. You don’t have to entertain me. Mostly it just feels like somebody came over.
