Hey, I'm Daniel Wesley. I photograph families in a way that feels easy, natural, and actually fun for your kids.
I come from a family of elementary school teachers, so connecting with kids and following their energy comes pretty naturally to me. No stiff poses, no pressure. Just real moments, real connection, and a session that feels a lot more like play than work.
Most parents show up a little unsure… and leave saying, "That was way easier than we expected." That's exactly how it should feel.

This was our family's first time getting professional photos taken, and Daniel made the whole process easy, fun, and stress-free. He was incredible with our two energetic little ones and even managed to get our teenager to enthusiastically participate.
Daniel was so great with my littlest one. She had to be woken from her nap for magic hour and was a mess. He turned her bad mood around and got some amazing pictures. Honestly this seemed impossible as I drove her to the spot half asleep and crying.

The Process
How it works.
Share a glimpse of your vision, who the session is for, and any dates you're considering. Whether you have a full Pinterest board or just a "we want it to feel like us," both are equally welcome. You'll receive a thoughtful, tailored response to begin shaping your session.
Once your date and location are selected, a private booking link will be sent your way. Complete your contract and secure your session with a 50% retainer. The remaining balance is due one week prior — keeping everything smooth, simple, and officially on the calendar.
In the weeks leading up, you'll receive a curated guide covering wardrobe direction, timing, and overall aesthetic. I'll walk you through everything so you feel confident and prepared, without overthinking it. No complicated poses to memorize — just a little direction and a lot of real moments.
Your images are carefully edited and delivered through a private online gallery. Each photograph is presented in high resolution, refined and ready for print. The only hard part is deciding which ones to frame first — and which ones become phone backgrounds immediately.
